This website namely Martlenz Knowledge Services is operated by Martlenz Knowledge Services (referred to as “Precise Research”, “we”, “our”, “us”). Martlenz Knowledge Services is an online fieldwork/Market Research Company and panel specialist. Martlenz Knowledge Services work with reputable research agencies and manufacturers to assist in their understanding of customers by gaining the views of real people like you.

Martlenz Knowledge Services ("Martlenz Knowledge Services", “Company", "We", "Our", "Us") is based out in India and recognizes the importance of maintaining the secrecy of its customer’s/visitor’s/client's/employees'/research participant's ("your"/ "you"/ "yourself") personal data.

  • Conducting the research and for validating answers/views that you have given in recent research that we conducted, for quality assurance/verification purposes.

  • Updating and ensuring that our records of your personal data are correct (Applicable if you are part of an ongoing community/network/panel with Martlenz).

  • Notifying you and for providing you with incentives/prize/gifts for taking part in research.

  • Discussing your profile if you have applied for a position in our organization.

 

Pursuing our research objective.

We use relevant data subjects'/research participant's personal data to connect with them to enquire about their interest in participating in our research studies. So, the first connect is on the basis of 'legitimate interest' as per GDPR regulations related to processing. Here, the respondents have a choice to refuse participation. Once the respondents agree to participate in the research, we proceed and take their consent in a more structured manner.

 

  1. The information we collect can contain your personal opinions as well as personal data such as name, address, postcode, gender, occupation, age, date of birth, email address, telephone number etc. We may occasionally collect sensitive personal data such as political views. Where relevant to the research being undertaken, we may collect business contact information, such as, company name, job title, and department. In addition, for online surveys we will record your IP address, type of browser, OS you are using, your screen size and other basic metrics.

  2. Used on an aggregated basis to analyse research result at various groups, segments, or classification basis.

  3. Used to administer and distribute prize/incentive/gift.

  4. Occasionally used to re-contact you to validate your responses for quality assurance/ verification purposes.

  5. All of your survey responses are treated as confidential. We will never intentionally disclose your personal data or individual survey responses to the client that commissioned the study or any third parties unless:

  6. You request/agree/permit/consent/accord to share your personally identifying information and individual responses. The details around what all personal data will be supplied to client or any third parties and how it be used will be provided to you at the time we seek your consent/approval.

  7. In the rare but possible circumstance that the information is subject to disclosure pursuant to judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants, orders or for similar legal, regulatory or contractual requirements.

 

Your responses to online surveys

The surveys that you are invited to respond to as part of the panels service are the responsibility of our Research Partners and the company is not responsible for the processing of personal data that your responses may contain.

 

Our Research Partners aim to process the responses of our members in an aggregated manner for statistical analysis purposes. We do not therefore send them your names, email addresses, phone numbers or any other data personal about You. The Research Partner must not collect any of your personal data unless you have given your explicit agreement to collection of your personal data as part of the specific survey that you are responding to.

 

The Research Partners may be required however, at the time you answer the questionnaire or survey, to collect your IP address (which can constitute personal data) or other personal data. In this case, we require our Research Partners to ask for your prior consent by clearly explaining the nature of the personal data being collected. You may proceed to the survey if you agree to share your information with our Clients/Research Partners else you can close that survey.

 

Note: We never ask you to provide any confidential and material non-public information of your business.

 

Who we share the data with

  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties. From time to time, we may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. They may have access to the personal data needed to perform their functions but will not use it for other than specified purposes. They must also agree to process the personal data as set out in this Privacy Policy.

 

  • Processing of prizes/incentives/gifts from the result may result in your contact details being passed onto a third party. This would purely be for the prize/incentive/gift to be sent out to you electronically or physically.

  6. Request the restriction of the processing of your personal data: this right entitles you to request that Martlenz Knowledge Services only processes your personal data in limited circumstances, including with your consent.

  7. Request to object our processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes including profiling. If you make such an objection, then we will cease to process your personal data for this purpose.

  8. Request to object to our processing of your personal data for scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes on grounds relating to your particular situation, unless the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out for reasons of public interest.

  9. Request to data portability: Where you have provided personal data to us, you can ask us to transmit that personal data (in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format) directly to another company if is technically feasible.

For how long is your personal data kept?

Survey hosting tools operate the survey questionnaire software and data collection process that Martlenz Knowledge Services employ to collect your opinions online. The data from the survey will be held by such survey hosting tools in separate databases. Only Martlenz Knowledge Services will receive the data collected online in the survey. At no time will the information you provide be used for any purpose other than research.

 

It is not our aim to sell or promote anything. These are marketing research surveys using scientific methods and we commit, in obtaining your co-operation, we try our best to not to mislead you about the nature of the research or how the findings will be used. Your responses will be treated as confidential unless you consent to being identified. In the relatively few instances where we ask permission to pass on your data in a way which would allow you to be personally identified, we will ensure that the information is only used for the stated purposes.

 

We take every reasonable step not to interview children without gaining prior parental consent or as per the applicable law of the country where research is conducted.
